The second annual Fresh Wave race offers 5K, 10K, 15K and half-marathon distances on the Long Beach beach path on Saturday, January 23, 2027. All distances start at 7:30 AM, with bib pickup from 6:45–7:30 AM. Meet at 5400 E. Ocean Boulevard, near 54th Place. The marked course uses out-and-back loops on a shared beach path. Registration includes a finisher medal, goodie bag, photos, results and snacks. Water, Gatorade and gels are available at the aid station. The half marathon has a 3-hour-15-minute time limit; contact the organizer about an earlier start if needed. Race-day registration costs $35 for the 5K, $40 for the 10K, $45 for the 15K and $50 for the half marathon. Check the organizer’s registration page for advance pricing. Residential parking is free; the beach lot requires payment.
