Long Beach Shakespeare Company presents three days of poetry, performance art and live music, curated by Linda Ravenswood and produced by Holly Leveque. Friday, October 2: bookstore opens at 6 PM; Linda Ravenswood’s Typewriter performance poetry runs 6:30–8:30 PM, supporting the First Friday Art Walk on Atlantic Avenue. Saturday, October 3: bookstore opens at 2 PM; live poetry runs 3–5:30 PM, followed by performance art and live music from 5:30–6 PM. Sunday, October 4: bookstore opens at 2 PM; live poetry, performance art and live music run 3–5:30 PM. The listed start times are bookstore opening times. Saturday performers include Brendan Constantine, Anna Homler & Jeff Schwartz, Phillip T. Nails, Hank Henderson, Jay Eiser and other poets. Sunday performers include Terence Leclere, Lynne Thompson, Christina Cha, Melanie Zoey Weinstein, Nelson Gary, Richard Modiano, K.R. Morrison and others.
